The Salem Clinic Medical Foundation (SCMF) is a private operating foundation established by an investment from the Salem Clinic physicians in 2012. SCMF is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Mid-Willamette Valley residents by fostering strategic partnerships and developing a legacy of impactful programing and initiatives.

Salem Clinic Medical Foundation supports Salem Clinic’s mission to improve community health “in a spirit of compassion and respect.” SCMF both directly operates programs and community outreach events, as well as supporting the efforts of other local non-profits aligned with health provision, promotion, or education.

Ongoing partnerships with The Boys and Girls Club and Early Learning Hub date back to the early 2010’s. Salem Keizer Healthcare Careers, also known as skhealthcarecareers.org, is SCMF’s award-winning signature program. It was launched in 2022 and is continuing to grow through outreach in local schools and the broader community.
